Guys, we have spoke about the importance of pull ups. Lets share what else has helped us build our backs or hasnt for that matter.
Personally, heavy deadlifts, wide grip pulldowns, close revers grip pulldwons, heavy seated rows and super heavy dumbbell rows have worked best. There are other smaller movements such as rope pulls too which really give your latts a good going over.
Lets face it, nothing beats a back as wide as a door does it apart from a sick set of wheels perhaps.

a wide back always looks awsom! i like seated rows with the straight bar Dorian Yates style, ive seen good results with this ,and lets face it its worked for him

Ye straight bar seated rows are great. Its ALL about where you bring the bar to on your torso depending on where you personally feel the contraction best. Seated rows are phenomenal for building a nice wide back with plenty of thickness and detail and you can go real heavy too!
