If one isn't able to take in 6 meals a day, would 3 meals and 3 shakes suffice?
Thank you

Its certainly better than not eating. However, if you do this be sure that you arent having two shakes back to back, but in between solid meals. If you could get in at least a fourth solid meal along with the 3 shakes it would make a big difference.

Shakes are ok in the offseason make sure they fit the goal though, for dieting use straight whey or low carb mrp and for weight gain look for something more carb heavy at least a 1:1 protein carb ratio. I would like you to get 7 intakes on training days though; the best protocol on no training days would be
Breakfast Solid Mid Morning Shake Lunch Solid Mid Afternoon Shake Dinner Solid Pre Bed Shake
hope this helps i use shakes heavily in the offseason
